The course can be completed in as little as 30 days or as many as 12 months. There are four modules and each will take you about 12.5 hours including video, audio, reading and homework assignments. To get your certificate as soon as possible within 30 days, complete one module per week. If you prefer to move more slowly, you may choose the 4-month plan in which you'll complete one module per month. If you need even more time, you'll have one year after your initial enrollment to complete all four modules.

A minimum of five live group sessions is required to complete your certification. If you can't attend live, you may watch the recordings. If you plan to complete the course in 30 days, you will be able to fulfill this requirement by watching the recordings of past live calls. 

For more than half of the training hours you'll be on your mat following guided yin yoga, yang flow and meditation routines (video and audio). The rest of the hours are a blend of pre-recorded video learning modules, live online sessions, practice-teaching exercises, and reading through chapters the Yin Yoga Teacher's Handbook.

• The final assignment is to submit a video of yourself guiding a Yin Yoga class, which you can do alone or with an adult student or group. Your class may be conducted in-person or on Zoom. You may use your own words, or use the provided script. You'll record the class with a smartphone, video camera or webcam, and you'll upload the video using the instructions provided.
