In addition to reading assignments from the training book, you will have one assignment per module. Here's a look at what's required for those assignments.
The Module 1 assignment is done on your own. You’ll just use your phone to make an audio recording of yourself reading through the script (or improvising instead, if you’re comfortable doing so). You will then practice with the recording.
The Module 2 is a choice of Hands-On Yin (done with another person) or Yin With Sandbags (done by yourself).
The Module 3 assignment is Yin Assists, which you practice on another person. This can be the same person as the previous assignment.
For the 1st, 2nd and 3rd assignments, you'll submit a form summarizing your experience and what you learned.
To complete Module 4, your final assignment is to submit a video of yourself teaching a Yin Yoga class to another person (or people). This class can be done on Zoom or in-person. You can teach a friend, an existing student, or a volunteer. A script is available for your use, if you're new to teaching. For this assignment you will submit a video recording. It can be a link to the Zoom recording, or a video from your phone that you upload.
