The training assignments have options so that you won’t need to come into physical contact with anyone, if that’s what works best for you.
The first week’s assignment is done on your own. You’ll just use your phone to make an audio recording of yourself reading through the script (or improvising instead, if you’re comfortable doing so). You will then practice with the recording. You won’t need to submit the recording, you’ll just fill out a form summarizing what you learned from the experience.
The second assignment is a choice of assisted yin (done with another person) or yin with sandbags (done by yourself). Again, you don’t need to make a recording, you will just need to submit a form summarizing your experience.
The final assignment is to teach class to another person. This can be done on zoom, or in person. You can teach a friend or another student in the class. A script is available for those who are new to teaching. For this assignment you will submit a video recording, which can be a link to the Zoom recording or a video taken with your phone.
